Abstract

Gjenstanden for oppfinnelsen er et mikrobedyrkningsmedium som kan aktiveres med en flytende prøve eller vann. Kovalente tverrbundne celluloseetere anvendes som et gelatineringsmiddel. Gelen i hvilken næringsstoffene er oppblandet tørkes på et vann- ugjennomtrengelig underlag. Dyrkningsmediet ifølge oppfinnelsen kan anvendes til bestemmelse av bakterie og fungi både i hygienekontrollen i industrien og ved medisinske diagnoser. Det samme fremgangsmåteprinsipp kan anvendes innenfor forskjellige følsomhetsområder da absorpsjonskapasiteten til gelen kan reguleres ifølge den hydrofile egenskapen til celluloseetere.
