Abstract

Forbedret fremgangsmåte og apparat for behandling av pattedyrhypotermi og som i en foretrukket utførelsesform omfatter et selvbærbart, selvdrevet apparat med lett vekt, og som har et vakuumkammer (15) for å motta et lem (43) av et hypotermiindi- vid, en manuell vakuumpumpe (20) for manuelt å frembringe en negativ atmosfære i vakuumkammeret, pakningsinnretninger (42) for å avtette vakuumkammeret fra at- mosfæren, x>g-en eksoterm kjemisk-aktivert varmekilde (50) for å tilf jre varme til in- dividets lem. Det foretrukne apparat er konstruert for bruk i felten såvel som på sykehus på en bærbar, selvstendig måte.
