Abstract
Le charbon écologique est utilisé dans des fonderies, cuisines...The invention relates to the production of ecological charcoal based on coffee hulls, cocoa pods, palm nut fibers and its process for obtaining it. It is therefore a question here of transforming agro-industrial waste in particular, cocoa pods, coffee hulls and palm nut fibers into ecological charcoal by improving the formula of the composition of the specific binder, as well as innovative contextualization of the technique called pyrolysis replacing carbonization. The process includes 06 steps, namely: drying, grinding, pyrolysis, grinding, compacting, drying. Ecological coal is used in foundries, kitchens, etc.
Description
The invention concerns the production of an ecological charcoal based on coffee husks, cocoa pods, palm nut fibers as well as its process for obtaining it.
The transformation of biodegradable organic waste into ecological coal has been a technique that has existed for a good ten years. Until now, the basic raw materials used were taken from household waste (corn skins, cassava peelings, plantains, etc.). In addition, the technique used to achieve this was based on carbonization.
Cependant, ceci posait deux problèmes fondamentaux à savoir :However, this posed two fundamental problems, namely:
L’indisponibilité et l’inaccessibilité sur le moyen et long terme des matières premières citées plus haut, accentué par la variation des cultures alignées sur les différentes saisons climatiques propres au CamerounThe unavailability and inaccessibility in the medium and long term of the raw materials mentioned above, accentuated by the variation of crops aligned with the different climatic seasons specific to Cameroon
The low yield due to the technique used (carbonization), as well as the poor quality of the coal obtained.
It is in view of all this that we decided to work not with household waste but rather with waste from the agro-industrial sector, which is more available and better accessible. Also, moving from carbonization to pyrolysis while improving the preparation of the binder.
It is therefore a question here for us of transforming agro-industrial waste in particular, cocoa pods, coffee husks and palm nut fibers into ecological charcoal by improving the formula of the composition of the specific binder, as well as as an innovative contextualization of the technique called pyrolysis replacing carbonization.

Tar * These are cocoa pods, coffee hulls or palm nut fiber. Regardless of the material used among those cited above, we will apply exactly the same dosage for the manufacture of 25 KG. It should also be noted that for larger or smaller quantities, simply apply the rule of three to respect the proportions given above.
II. PROCEDE.II. PROCESS.
La matière première est séchée jusqu’à atteindre un taux d’humidité t<10%The raw material is dried until it reaches a humidity level of t<10%
2) Le broyage2) Grinding
Broyer les déchets en particules d’une taille T<20mmGrind the waste into particles of a size T<20mm
Dans ces conditions précises, une pyrolyse se faisant en continue aura alors une vitesse de 01kg toutes les 3,59s soit 16,67kg/minHere, the particles are burned in the absence of oxygen at 600°C in a Biomass Pirolyzer for 01 minute 50 seconds. Under these precise conditions, a pyrolysis taking place continuously will then have a speed of 01kg every 3.59s or 16.67kg/min
4) Le broyage4) Grinding
Les granulés de carbones issus de la pyrolyse sont broyés jusqu’à obtention d’une poussière de charbon dont les particules auront une taille T<lmmThe carbon granules resulting from pyrolysis are crushed until coal dust is obtained whose particles will have a size T<lmm
5) Le compactage • Préparation du liant5) Compaction • Preparation of the binder
Heat 05L of drinking water to 68°C, then gradually pour in 01kg of cassava powder while stirring clockwise, until the mixture is homogenized.
• Mixage• Mixing
The above preparation will be mixed with 25kg of charcoal powder.
• Compactage• Compaction
The carbon powder is then passed through a compactor, which will press and mold it to give it its shape.
Ce qui ramènera le ,taux d’humidité à /=02%.At this stage, the pieces of coal have a humidity level of /=14.5%. They will then pass through a steam dryer set at 400°C for 03 minutes. This will reduce the humidity level to /=02%.
The present invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described above; but 5 includes all the variants which may come to the mind of those skilled in the art, without departing from the framework or scope of the present invention.
