Abstract

Advantageously, the ARPA improves screwdriving efficiency, increases torque accuracy, and maximizes operator safety. The axle mount torsion springs overlap the housing spring and automatically disengage the pawl from the ratchet wheel. The trigger is released without the need to advance the adjuster, touch the tool, or increase the hydraulic pressure above a target torque value. This allows one or more tools to be operated without the need for manipulation. With SIMULTORIC®, the operator no longer needs to determine which tool is locked with its holder.
