Abstract

To provide a motorcycle having a battery housing structure that can make a maintenance work of a battery arranged deep inside a housing space easy. [Solution to problem] A motorcycle 1 is provided with a battery 19, an air cleaner 4, an occupant seat 17, a rear fender 18 and an object housing part 100 on which the battery 19 can be mounted. The object housing part 100 is provided at an upper part of the rear fender 18, has opening 110 at an upper part thereof, and is provided with a battery fixation position below the air cleaner 4 at which electrodes 82, 88 are positioned upward. A battery tentative placement part 58 is provided in the object housing part 100 by cutting a rib 187 formed on a top surface of the rear fender 18. Harnesses 92, 93 connected to the electrodes 82, 88 of the battery 19 have a margin corresponding to distance from the fixation position of the battery 19 to the battery 19 tentative placement part 58.
