Abstract
Provided are coal ash granules which have high strength and water absorption. The coal ash granules include a mixture of granules, which contain coal ash and cement hydrates binding the coal ash and are formed in granular form, second coal ash, and cement hydrates that bind the second coal ash and the granules. These coal ash granules have a larger particle size than the abovementioned granules included therein. The coal ash granules are placed on a bed of water to improve the bed of water.
