Abstract

A wire containing flux for gas shield arc welding, containing, per total mass of a wire, respectively specific amounts of TiO2, C, at least one of Si and oxides of Si (in terms of Si content), ZrO2, Mn, Al, NaF, at least one of B and oxides of B (in terms of B content), Mg, and MgO; the sum of the amount of Na compounds other than NaF in terms of Na content and the amount of K compounds in terms of K content, and the amount of F compounds other than NaF in terms of F content, respectively being within a specific range; and the relationship 5.00 = [TiO2]/[Al] = 70.00 being satisfied, where [TiO2] is the TiO2 content and [Al] is the Al content.
