Abstract
A rodent trap including a hollow member with opening at both ends and at top proximate one of said ends. A trap door is hingely attached at one end. On the opposite end is fixedly secured a window view for viewing trapped rodent. Hingely attached at the top opening is the bait door supporting a bait holder. A triggering and locking means is operatively linked to the trap door and bait holder such the trap door is held open through the hook of the triggering rod thereof as the generally S-shaped member at the opposite end thereof engages the bait holder. The nibbling by rodent of the bait causes the disengagement of the substantially S-shaped member from the bait holder, resulting to the swinging downwards of the trap door. As the trap door falls down, the latch attached thereto is caught by the catch mounted at a side of hollow member.
