Abstract

A tamper evident label which is a combination of visible and invisible markings which is not easily reproduced and makes counterfeiting more difficult is disclosed. The markings on the substrate would be remained on the surface wherein it is being used when the upper portion is removed. The use of the invisible markings like UV prints on the substrate would enable to verify the product or package being counterfeited using a detection device like UV light or black light since visible markings could be easily copied.
