Abstract

The present utility model discloses a bottle crate for holding and separating bottles comprising a plastic crate frame in the shape of a rectangular box with a bottom surface, a pair of opposed longitudinal walls and a pair of opposed lateral walls being joined by corner posts, and an open top. The opposed longitudinal walls include a plurality of spaced wall posts and the opposed lateral walls include a plurality of spaced abbreviated wall posts. A plurality of crisscrossing partition walls traverses the opposed wall posts of said longitudinal and lateral walls, said partition walls defining a plurality of bottle compartments for holding bottles of 200ml to 240ml capacity, wherein said crisscrossing partition walls having a height which are made such that they are higher than the bottles contained in said compartments. In this configuration, the top portion of each bottle is shielded by the crisscrossing partition walls so that it will be protected from being accidentally struck by the bottom corner of another bottle crate during vertical stacking of the crates.
