Abstract
The present utility model relates generally to binder used to produce solid fuel. The said binder consists of mixtures of juice extracts of cactus, taro leaves and stalks, corn stalks and banana trunks and lime stone powder. The solid fuel produced using the binder of the present utility model can be used as fuel to industries that require big volume for coal as fuel or firewood like the cement factories, steel mills, furnace industries and thermal power plant. The environmental hazard cause by slagging and fouling from the furnace industries and thermal power plant has been addressed by the present utility model. Test results for the solid fuel shows that it has low residual moisture content and a heating value of 14.2 kJ/g.
