Abstract

A spout for flexible container pouch and the like comprising a fitment body having an elongated neck section, a film sealing portion disposed below said elongated neck section, a threaded cap member disposed on said elongated neck section, a passageway provided within said elongated neck section and film sealing portion and at least three horizontal flange members provided between said elongated neck section and film sealing portion; said threaded cap member comprises a cap body having a side portion, a top portion, an inner threaded portion provided at the inner part of said side portion, weak lines disposed below said side portion and an annular flange member disposed at the lower part of said side portion; said film sealing section comprises an elongated tube member having pair of primary vertical flanges disposed just below said horizontal flanges, secondary vertical flanges provided below said primary vertical flanges, plurality of elongated openings disposed on said elongated tube member and an opening provided at the bottom portion of said elongated tube member, and said elongated neck section is provided with threaded portion and an annular embossment disposed below said threaded portion.
