Abstract

A method of installing a jointless prefabricated slab comprising the steps of: 1) determining the floor area of the building and calculating the dimension, specification and the load to be supported by the jointless slab to be made; 2) building the formwork of the jointless slab to be made; 3) laying out the reinforcing means within the formwork in accordance with the load to be supported; 4) pouring the concrete within the formwork to make the slab; 5) drying the concrete and the tilting of the formwork for easy separation of the slab from the formwork; 6) transporting the slab to the construction site where the building is being erected; 7) installing the slab on top of the beam of building to be made; 8) putting additional reinforcing means on top of the slab and preparing additional perimeter formwork if necessary; 9) tapping and pouring of concrete on top of the slab; and 10) leveling of the poured concrete ensuring even and smooth top surface.
