Abstract

The present utility model discloses a method of producing briquettes from wood shavings and waste papers comprising the steps of collecting the wood shavings and waste papers, weighing the wood shavings and the waste papers, soaking the papers in a container with water, mixing the soaked papers to the wood shavings in a container until even consistency is achieved, molding the mixture of wood shavings and waste papers and sun drying the molded briquettes. The present briquettes cost cheaper because it comprises of recycled and waste materials, nonetheless, it has shorter ignition time, boiling time and cooking time, thus, higher cooking efficiency compared to wood charcoal.
