Abstract

The present utility model discloses a duplex receptacle comprising a housing formed by a bottom shell and a top shell defining an interior housing compartment within. The bottom shell is provided with configured walls that include plate holders, screw holders, cable ways, and reinforcements. A pair of conductor plates is accommodated in said plate holders. The top shell is provided with a pair of holes to provide access to the pair of conductor plates. The cable ways include a lower passage arranged below the screw holders and an upper passage arranged above the screw holders, wherein said upper passage provides passageway to a first supply wire while said lower passage provides passageway to a second supply wire. The housing is provided with a first access slot at an upper side thereof to provide entryway for the first supply wire, and a second access slot at a lower side thereof to provide exit passage for the second supply wire.
