Abstract

A wallboard unit includes a plurality wallboards (1a, 1b) disposed side by side. A connecting beam (2) is mounted between each two adjacent wallboards (1a, 1b). The connecting beam (2) includes an intermediate partitioning plate (23) interconnected between first and second connecting plates (21, 22) to define two compartments (24a, 24b). Each wallboard (1a, 1b) includes a tongue (12) and first and second recessed portions (13, 14) respectively on two sides of the tongue (12). The tongue (12) of each wallboard (1a, 1b) is inserted into and positioned in one of the compartments (24a, 24b) of the connecting beam (2). The first recessed portion (13) of each of two adjacent wallboards (1a, 1b) receives a section (21a, 21b) of the first connecting plate (21). The second recessed portion (14) of each of two adjacent wallboards (1a, 1b) receives a section (22a, 22b) of the second connecting plate (22).
