Abstract

The process of producing a fruit preserve specifically conserve is made possible utilizing the waste pomace and peel of citrus fruits. Inclusion of a number of other fruits in the formulation provides the characteristics for a good blend of conserve products. Further addition of raisins and peanuts at exact proportion add more texture and taste to the finished product. This is another process of turning waste into food.
