Abstract
Aramang-enriched cookies is a protein enriched cookies using aramang powder as a protein enhancer characterized as having a golden brown in color. The product was evaluated by the consumers as liked very much. The process of making aramang (Nematopalemon tenuipes), a shrimp specie, enriched cookies comprising the steps of: sifting all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon powder, and malunggay powder; creaming butter, sugar, honey, and eggs; folding the sifted all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and powder to the creamed mixture; adding chocolate chips to the mixture; blending the mixture; adding aramang powder to the blended mixture; dropping a mixture into a greased cookie sheet; and baking of said mixture at 350°F for 15 minutes.
