Description

Zadaniem wynalazku bylo stworzenie lancucha do opon, w którym czesc boczna nie musi byc wstepnie naprezana, wobec sily sprezyny urzadzenia napinajacego, aby przylegac do opony i w którym urzadzenie napinajace moze byc wstepnie naprezane bez obciazenia rozciagajacego czesci boczne. Jesli ogólna, mozliwa droga napinania urzadzen napinajacych zostanie calkowicie wykorzystana przy napinaniu lancucha do opon, mozna zmniejszyc ilosc urzadzen napinajacych przynajmniej o jedno i zastapic je krótszym czlonem lancucha. 1 przedstawia widok lancucha do opon w stanie pracy, fig. 2 — urzadzenie napinajace do lancucha do opon wedlug fig. 1 w przekroju osiowym, fig. 3 — przekrój wedlug linii III—III na fig. 2, fig. 4 — inny przyklad wykonania urzadzenia napinajacego w przekroju osiowym, fig. 5 - przekrój wedlug linii V—V na fig. 4, fig. 6 — dalszy przyklad wykonania urzadzenia napinajacego, w widoku, fig. 7 — przekrój • wedlug linii VII—VII na fig. 6, fig. 8 — czesc urzadzenia napinajacego w innym przykladzie wykonania, w przekroju osiowym, fig. 9 — dalsze urzadzenie napinajace w przekroju poprzecznym, fig. 10 — dalsze urzadzenie napinajace w przekroju wzdluznym, fig. 11 — dalsze urzadzenie napinajace w widoku, a fig. 12 - urzadzenie napinajace zgodnie z fig. 11 w przekroju wzdluznym.Lancuch do opon wedlug fig. PL PL PL PL PL PL PL The invention relates to a tire chain comprising a running part and side parts, each having at least one tensioning device pivotally attached to the tire chain members for tensioning the tire chain in the operating position, and having two resilient pivot members that can be moved to the point of extension. A tire chain of this type is known from U.S. Patent No. 2020943, in which the side part is elastically extendable. The side part members are either embedded in a flexible plastic material or provided with a tensioning spring. In order for the side part to adhere properly to the tire, it must be pre-tensioned against the spring force, which is relatively complicated because the side part adheres to the tire and the tire is usually closely hugged by the fenders of a motor vehicle so that the side part is difficult to access. The object of the invention was to create a tire chain in which the side part does not have to be pre-tensioned against the spring force of the tensioning device in order to adhere to the tire and in which the tensioning device can be pre-tensioned without the side parts being subjected to a tensile load. This problem is solved by the fact that the compression spring is surrounded by a housing, generally in the form of a sleeve, at the ends of which the joint members lie, and at least one joint member is slidably mounted in the housing, and a locking device is located in the housing to release the joint members, approximately in their extended position. - By this means, the tensioning device can be tensioned before the chain contacts the tires and the tension is secured in this position. When the chain comes into contact with the tires, the locking mechanism is released so that the joints of the tensioning device move towards each other under the action of the spring force, tensioning the side section and thus the tire chain. Several tensioning devices can be placed on the side section of the tire chain, depending on their size. Since each tensioning device can be individually locked in the tensioned position, only minor forces are required. The tensioning of the tire chain can be determined by the number of tensioning devices, 2 100 021, which are unlocked when the chain comes into contact with the tires. It is not necessary to lock all tensioning devices – non-locking tensioning devices, in the form of tension or compression springs, can also be installed. Such tensioning devices can be placed, for example, alternately on the side of the tire chain. Non-locking tensioning devices can also have springs that are pre-tensioned in the tensioning device's relief position. Due to the connection of the chain links at their contact points, the tire chain expands with prolonged use. Therefore, the tire chain is continuously tensioned by the tensioning devices, ensuring precise positioning of the tire chain on the tire. In addition, tire chain overload caused by sudden movements, turning the vehicle's wheels, or changes in the vehicle's camber angle is avoided because the chain parts equipped with a spring-loaded tensioning device are elastically tensioned and are not subject to stress. By favorably positioning the tensioning device, it is possible to prevent the tire chain from separating from the tire due to centrifugal force and thus damaging it. The tensioning device or tensioning devices can be placed on the inner and/or outer sidewalls and/or on the center chain between the two running parts. This type of tire chain with two running parts is designed for dual wheels, where one running part is attached to each tire. In this type of tire chain, the tensioning devices can be arranged one after the other, between two running parts, with two center chains lying next to each other, or the like, so that at least one tensioning device is in contact with both sides of the tire facing each other. The side part does not need to have tensioning devices and always has the same inside diameter during operation. Since the outer side part usually covers the corresponding tire side at a greater height than the inner side part, it is not necessary to place the tensioning device on the outer side part. This prevents the outer side part from being pushed into the rim area due to tensioning, thus damaging it. The inner side part with the tensioning device or devices has a significantly larger inner diameter than the outer side part, so that the inner side part does not move into the rim area due to tensioning. If the total possible tensioning path of the tensioning devices is fully utilized when tensioning the tire chain, the number of tensioning devices can be reduced by at least one and replaced with a shorter chain section. This reduces the diameter of the associated tire chain parts so that the remaining tensioning devices can be used again for tensioning. The tire chain part with the tensioning device or devices can be tensioned to approximately its maximum length when mounted on the tire using an auxiliary device, e.g., a tensioning lever. To allow the auxiliary devices to be removed from the tire after tensioning, they are releasably attached to the tire chain. The chain according to the invention is used, in particular, as a tire protection chain, protecting the tire from damage during movement. Tire chains of this type are used, for example, in mines, where tires can be easily damaged by rocky ground. The subject of the invention is shown in the examples of embodiments in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a view of the tire chain in the operating state, Fig. 2 - a tensioning device for the tire chain according to Fig. 1 in axial section, Fig. 3 - a section according to the line III-III in Fig. 2, Fig. 4 - another example of the tensioning device in axial section, Fig. 5 - a section according to the line V-V in Fig. 4, Fig. 6 - a further example of the tensioning device, in a view, Fig. 7 - a section according to the line VII-VII in Fig. 6, Fig. 8 - a part of the tensioning device in another example of the embodiment, in axial section, Fig. 9 - a further device 10 - further tensioning device in longitudinal section, Fig. 11 - further tensioning device in view, and Fig. 12 - tensioning device according to Fig. 11 in longitudinal section. The tire chain according to Fig. 1, which is fitted to the tire 1 shown in dashed-dot lines, has a running part 2 in the shape of a net, which is intended to be placed on the running surface of the tire 1, and two side parts, of which only the inner side part 3 is shown. The side parts serve as a resistance on the supporting surface of the tire and are also in the shape of a net, wherein the running part and the side parts can have the same arrangement. The running part and the side parts consist of ring members 4 arranged parallel to the plane of the stretched chain and of bridge members 5 which are pivotally connected to the ring members 4 so that they remain perpendicular to the upper surface of the tire or the plane of the stretched chain. Each ring member 4 receives three bridge members 100021 3 adjacent to each other at an angle, and each bridge member 5 is pivotally connected to two adjacent ring members 4. Each ring member 4 lies on a corner of the multi-shaped mesh part of the tire chain. The edge of the side part 3 facing away from the running part 2 is formed by a side chain 6. The side chain 6 is formed by adjacent tensioning devices 7 or 7a and ring members 8, which are preferably formed in the same way as the ring members 4. In the exemplary embodiment, a tensioning device and a ring member are arranged alternately in succession, so that two tensioning devices with their ends facing each other are engaged in each ring member 8 in a way that they can be engaged in a mutually articulated manner. Each ring member 8 of the side chain 6 is pivotally connected to an adjacent ring member 4 by a bridge member 9 extending perpendicular to the tire chain. The bridge members 9 are preferably formed as detachable hook members so that the side chains 6 can be removed as a unit from the remaining tire chain. The hook holes of the bridge members 9 preferably engage in the corresponding ring members 8 of the side chain 6. The tensioning devices are pre-tensioned so that the side chain 6 and therefore the tire chain is constantly under a defined tensile stress and the side chain 6 tightens during operation in accordance with the internal wear of the tire chain and the corresponding wear of the tire 1. Each tensioning device has, at its inverted ends, two joint members 10, 11 or 10a, 11a, with which it is hooked onto the adjacent ring members 8 of the side chain 6. The maximum number of tensioning devices used is preferably approximately ^ = D^^4, where D is the tire diameter and T the distance between the joint members of the tensioning device. The tensioning device 7b according to FIGS. 2 and 3 has a housing 12 formed substantially symmetrically with respect to the axis 13 by a cylindrical sleeve 14 and two end covers 15 and 16, which are fastened at the ends of the sleeve 14. The sleeve 14 can be formed in a simple manner by a pipe section. At the ends, the sleeve 14 is provided with external threads 17, onto which the covers 15, 16 are screwed so that they are tensioned against the end surfaces of the sleeve 14. The joint member 10b is rigidly connected to the associated end cover 15 and arranged on the outer end face thereof. Another joint member 1 1b is movable, in the longitudinal direction of the tensioning device, with respect to the housing 12. This joint member 1 1b is attached to the outer end of a cylindrical shaft 18, which lies on the axis 13 and with its inner end engages in the housing 12. At the inner end of the shaft 18, the diameter of which is significantly smaller than the inner diameter of the housing 12, an annular disc-shaped flange 19 is provided, the outer diameter of which is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the housing 12, so that it is guided in the housing. The shaft 18 is surrounded inside the housing 12 by a helical compression spring 20, which rests with its end on the front side of the flange 19 facing the joint member 11 and with its other end on the opposite inner surface of the housing 12. As a stop for this end, an annular disc 21 having an outer diameter almost the same as the flange 19 is arranged on the inner side of the associated end cover 16. In the compressed position of the tensioning device 7b, the flange 19 rests under the influence of the force of the pre-tensioned helical compression spring 20 on the inner face of the associated cover 15 of the housing 12. From this position, the movable joint member 1 1b can be pulled away from the second joint member lOb against the force of the helical compression spring 20, until the windings of the helical compression spring 20 abut against each other and thereby fix the farthest position of the tensioning device. Thanks to this, the helical compression spring 20 of the tensioning device cannot be overloaded or damaged. The helical compression spring 20, whose outer diameter is almost equal to the inner diameter of the housing 12 and is guided securely in the housing 12. In the position in which the tensioning device has its greatest length, the joint members lOb, 1 lb can be mutually locked. This allows the tensioning device to be easily mounted. After mounting, the locking device 23 should be released so that the joint members move against each other thanks to the spring force until the tire chain is tensioned. At the inner end of the shaft 18, two completely opposite bolts 24 are provided, which are formed by sections of the collar 19. The collar 19 is provided, on two completely opposite sides, with flat and parallel flats 25, which limit the bolt 24 curved on both sides at their ends around the axis 13. For engaging the bolt 24, two projections 26 are arranged in the housing 12, lying on both sides opposite the axis 13, which lie perpendicular to the axis 13 and form each a shoulder 27 on the sides facing the joint member 11b. The distance of the side of each projection 26 facing the axis 13 from the axis 13 is slightly greater than the distance of the flats. 25 from the axis 13 and smaller than the distance of the end surfaces of the bolt 24 from the axis 13. Both flats as well as both projections 26 lie symmetrically to the axial plane of the bolt 13. The projections 26 are formed in a simple manner by pins* which at both ends engage permanently in the housing 12 or in the sleeve 14, wherein the ends of the pins can e.g. be pressed into the holes. The joint member 1 1b and the shaft 18 are slidable and rotatably arranged around an axis 13 in the housing 12. In the position according to FIGS. 2 and 3, in which the flats 25 lie parallel to the mutually facing sides of the projections 26, they can pre-move the bolt 24 on the projections 26. If the bolts 24 are located on the side of the projections 26 facing the slidable joint member 1 1b and the joint member 11 rotates, then the projections 26 lie in the range of movement of the bolts 24, which, after releasing the form-locked joint member 1 1b, strike the shoulders 27 of the bolt and thereby immobilize the sliding joint member against the housing 12. After the tensioning device 7b has been installed in tire chain, the joint member 1 lb is turned with a screwdriver or the like until the locking bolts are released so that the tensioning device is brought to the tensioning position. The shaft 1& passes through narrow openings in the associated end cover 16 and in the annular disc 21, so that no dirt can penetrate into the housing. In order to be able to open the tire chain in the area of the tensioning device or tensioning devices, at least one link member of one tensioning device is designed as an open hook. In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, both link members 10b, 11b are designed as open hooks, so that the tensioning device 7b as a whole can be easily released via the annular member 8 or easily mounted. The openings of the hooks 28 lie close to the covers 15, 16, with their limiting surfaces being transformed into partly circular inner surfaces of the joint members 10b, 11b, which are essentially shaped as open rings, e.g. with a circular cross-section. The inner surfaces of both joint members 10b, 11b form, in the regions where they are furthest apart, abutment surfaces 29 for the ring members 8, with both abutment surfaces 29 lying symmetrically to the axis 13. The joint members lie on a provided ' extension of the circumferential surface of the housing 12, so that they are covered by it. Instead of a helical compression spring, a disc spring, a spring Pneumatic, hydraulic, or hydropneumatic, filled with air or gas and oil, or another spring. When using a series of tensioning devices in a tire chain, not all tensioning devices need to be locked. For example, in Fig. 1, the tensioning device is formed by a simple compression spring 20a, which is not housed in a housing. The helical compression spring 20a has at its ends joint members 10a, 11a, which are formed by bending the spring wire. The wire from which the springs are bent has a cross-section that is possibly round, oval, quadrangular, or similar. % The tensioning device according to FIGS. 2 and 3 has a substantially circular cross-section and its length is 150 to 500 mm, respectively. In FIGS. 4 to 8, the same references are used for the corresponding parts as in FIGS. 2 and 3, however, in FIGS. 4 and 5 with the index "CM", in FIGS. 6 and 7 with the index "d", in FIGS. 8 with the index "e", and so on. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 and 5, both joint members 10c and 10c are each slidably arranged by a member 18c in the housing 12c, wherein the tensioning device 7c is formed symmetrically with respect to a central plane perpendicular to its axis. Each member 18c is surrounded by a separate spring 20c, which is attached to the housing 12c. associated flange 19c. The flanges 19c abut against each other, preferably with their mutually facing sides, in the compressed position of the tensioning device. Each flange 19c forms two bolts 24c, with two separate projections 26 being provided for the bolt 24c of each hinge member. The projections 26 are formed by bridges, which each have the shape of a circular sector and are fastened with their curved edges to the inner surface of the sleeve 14c. The sleeve 14c extends over the entire length of the housing 12c. Both identically shaped covers 15c, 16c are mounted in the sleeve 14c in such a way that their outer front surfaces tightly close the end surfaces of the sleeve 14c. The covers 15c, 16c have an external thread cooperating with an internal thread 17c at the ends of the sleeve 14. The closed joint members 10c, 11c are similarly shaped in the shape of a ring. The springs 20 or 20c must be shaped so that their coils can move freely on the projections 26 or 26c. To achieve this, the outer diameter of the spring is smaller than the distance between the projections or the springs are, in axial cross-section, non-circular but flattened laterally so that they have a smaller distance from the axis 13 to the sides of these projections facing the axis 13. The tensioning device 7d according to Figs. 6 and 7 also has two sliding springs with respect to the housing 12d, joint members lOd, lid. The flanges 19d of the shaft 18d are each provided with a bolt 244,100021 5 in the form of a nose or a ball, protruding radially beyond their outer circumference, the distance of which from the axis of the tensioning device is greater than half the inner diameter of the housing 12d and at most as large as half its outer diameter, so that the bolt 24d does not protrude beyond the outer circumference of the housing 12d. To guide the bolt 24d, a longitudinal slot 30 is provided on the sleeve 14d, the width of which is only greater than the width of the bolt 24d by the necessary movement clearance. The surfaces of the bolt 24d facing the limiting edges, lying parallel to the housing longitudinal slot 30 are parallel to each other. The slot 30, at at least one limiting edge, has an extension 26d for each bolt 24d, one limit of which is formed by a shoulder 27d to the associated bolt 24d. In the illustrated embodiment, two equally mutually opposite extensions 26d in the form of slots are provided for each bolt 24d. If the joint member 10d or lid is moved away from the housing 12d, the associated bolt 24d is brought into the extension region 26d, whereupon the bolt can be moved by the pivotable joint member into the extension 26d, and the joint member is thereby locked. This design allows the tensioning device to have a very small outer diameter. The slot 30 can extend through the entire length of the housing 12d or sleeve 14d. Therefore, the strength of the housing 12d or sleeve 14d can be increased by the fact that the slot 30 extends only from one end of the housing to the extension 26d of the slot 30 located at the greatest distance from this end. The ends of the sleeve 14d are closed by covers 15d, which are in the form of circular discs, which are attached to the sleeve 14d. The housing 12e, according to Fig. 8, has a deep-drawn part forming not only the flange 14e, but also a cover in the form of the front wall 15e. The open end of this part is closed by a cover in the form of an annular disc 16e. The housing 12f of the tensioning device, according to Fig. 9, has an oval cross-section. The shape of the flange 19f corresponds to the inner shape of the housing 12f. In the operating position, the housing 12f of the tensioning device rests on the tire with one of its two flat sides, so that the tensioning device protrudes only relatively slightly above the side surface of the tire. The tensioning device according to Fig. 10, whose housing 12g is rectangular in cross-section, also has this advantage. The tensioning device 74 shown in Figs. 11 and 12 does not have a housing. The U-shaped joint members 1Oh, llh are bent from wire having a circular cross-section and are slightly thicker than the wire from which spring 20h is made. The joint members 1Oh, llh lie at the ends of spring 20h, the inner diameter of which is approximately equal to the width of the joint members. The flattened coils of spring 20h, in which the end planes lie perpendicular to its central axis 13h, delimit an opening that receives the inner surface 29h of the joint member 10h or llh belonging to each. Each joint member has a connecting part obtained from two parallel arms 18h and extending to the other joint member. Each linkage part 18h, lying parallel to the central axis 13h, runs along the entire length of the spring 20h and is provided at its end, facing the hinge member, with a mounting member for mounting the spring 20h at its end. The arms 18h, formed by extensions of the arms of the associated hinge member 1Ofr or llh, merge into a semicircularly curved end section of the associated hinge member, slidingly adjoining the inner surface of the coils of the spring 20h so that the spring 20h is precisely guided and reliably guided. The central axes of both arms 18h of each linkage part lie in one plane. The drawbar part can be rotated relative to the spring 20h around the central axis l*3h and thus assumes a suitable position at any time. The mounting member of each drawbar part is formed by the mutually curved ends 15h or 16h of the two associated arms 18h. The ends of each drawbar part are curved outward in opposite directions and pass tangentially into the arms 18h. The width of the hook-like, mutually curved ends 15h is greater than the wire diameter of spring 20h only by the required movement clearance. Spring 20h is engaged in both mutually curved ends 15h or 16h of each drawbar part with its associated end coils. The arms 18h and the associated joint member lOh are each formed by a single-piece wire cable, with both wire cables being identically shaped. This allows the tensioning device to consist of only three individual parts that can be releasably engaged. This loose, releasable connection allows the joint member lOh, whose receiving opening between the arms is open before mounting the spring 20h, to be mounted directly on an open tire chain link without the need for a releasable link between them. After inserting the chain link into the joint member lOh, the spring 20h can be moved through this joint member lOh onto the associated arm 18h. To move the spring 20h through this joint member 1Oh, the second wire cable having a joint member is inserted with one arm 18h into the hole 6 100 021 receiving the joint member 1Oh and after this the joint member Uh is moved forward through the spring 20h until its arms 18h abut the associated end of the spring 20h. In this joint member llh, a chain link is then placed, which is so wide that it cannot be moved by the spring 20h. When the tensioning device 7h is under tension, in which the coils of the spring 20h are in contact with each other and the joint members lÓh, llh have the greatest distance between them, the tensioning device can be secured, for example, by an insert, which is placed at the end of the spring, between the associated arms 18h and is supported on one side on the associated end surface of the spring 20h and on the other side on the inner surface 29h of the associated joint member. To unlock the tensioning device 7h, the insert is removed from the joint member. The tensioning device can also be secured in the tensioned position a clamp or the like, which passes through the ends of the compressed spring 20h and is removed for unlocking.PL PL PL PL PL PL PL
