The essence of the industrial design is a new form of the lantern cover, manifested in its shape and decorative elements. Funeral lanterns are known in which the prism cover has embossed details and decorative arrangements in the form of geometric motifs. The subject of the industrial design is shown in the attached drawing, in which Fig. 1 is an axonometric view and Fig. 2 is a cross-section of the lantern. The lantern cover, according to the industrial design, has a body supported by a base that is a low prism connected to a side surface similar in shape to a prism, the width of which of the slightly convex walls increases upwards to a circumferential concavity and then transitions into a low element similar in shape to a truncated cone. Each wall is decorated with lines radiating from the junction of the side wall edge with the base and arch, reaching above halfway up to the side wall edge. The whole is closed with a two-piece collar.
