Known devices for determining differences in air permeability are equipped with the following devices and control and measurement apparatus, which includes: - a uniformly aspirating device to obtain the pressure difference on both sides of the sample, - a device for adjusting the amount of suction air, - a rotameter for measuring the amount of air flowing through a sample of a flat product, - a manometer or a set of manometers for measuring the difference in pressure on both sides of a flat product sample, - interchangeable holders for testing different sizes of samples. In these devices, air permeability is measured using high air flow velocities, which do not guarantee laminar flow. The disadvantage of the known devices is the inability to carry out a comparative measurement of two samples, since these devices have only one test chamber. The device for determining the difference in air permeability of flat textile products according to the invention consists of two identical cylindrical chambers. . The chamber consists of two parts connected by a threaded collar inside which a ring is placed to hold a sample of a given fabric. One part of the chamber is equipped with a blower and the other part with a thermal conductivity sensor. The sensor is connected to the measuring system, the blower is powered from: the supply system, and both parts of the chamber are connected to the pressure gauge. The use of sensors in the device enables the measurement with small air flows. The device, according to the invention, is shown in the example in the drawing which shows a schematic of the device. The device consists of two cylindrical chambers 3. The chamber 3 consists of two parts connected by a threaded flange inside which a fabric fixing ring is placed. One part of the chamber 3 is supplied with the blower 2 and the other part with the thermoconductive sensor 4. The sensor 4 is connected with the measuring system 5, and the blower 2 with the supply system 1. Both parts of the chamber 3 are connected with The principle of operation of the device: the test sample is placed in one chamber 3, and the reference sample in the other.
