Description

1 i fig. 2. 112 017112 017 L R [ C-M- A T T [ AC D Bltk zam. 1246/81 105 egz. A-4 Cena 45 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a power supply system for arc-discharge lamps powered by DC voltage. Commonly used in projection, photometric devices, etc., arc discharge lamps (mercury, xenon) powered by DC require 2 or 3 times higher voltage when ignited. from the nominal working voltage of the lamp. As a result, the power used to power these lamps must be correspondingly greater than the lamp power. During the lamp operation 50-70Vo the power of such a power supply is not used or lost. Simplified diagrams of commonly used power supplies are shown in Figure fdg. 1 and 2. Fig. 1 shows a power supply system in which the excess power of the power supply is lost on the resistance R, and Fig. 2 shows a power supply consisting of two parts, one of which is used for the zaiplon and is disconnected by the switch Sj and S2. The object of the invention is to provide a lamp power supply system with a power supply equal to the rated power of the lamp supplied. This aim has been achieved by the use of an additional low-current electric circuit increasing the voltage on the lamp before its ignition, and by connecting the lamp to the power supply through a diode to which a capacity is connected in parallel. The invention is explained in more detail in the drawing in which Fig. 3 shows a simplified diagram of the feeder. The power supply is connected to the lamp via diode D. Parallel to the diode is a small capacity capacitor C, which is charged from an additional low-voltage electrical circuit to the voltage required to ignite the lamp. The current flows in the circuit (the auxiliary is in the order of milliamperes. At the moment of the lamp ignition, the capacitor C is discharged by the lamp and the diode D begins to conduct. Such a solution of the power supply simplifies its structure and significantly (2-3 times) reduces the weight of the transformer and the entire power supply. an arc discharge discharge lamp, characterized in that the lamp is connected to the power supply through a semiconductor element of which a capacitance (6) and a low-voltage direct current circuit are connected in parallel. 112 017 112 017 L R [C-M- A T T [AC D Bltk closed 1246/81 105 copies A-4 Price PLN 45 PL
