Until now, "seamless cylinders for gas storage have been produced from structural steels with increased manganese content. Known and commonly used steels for the production of pressure vessels. steel with a chemical composition by weight of 0.48-0.56% carbon, 0.70-1.00% manganese, 0.17-0.37% silicon, max. 0.04% phosphorus, and in particular seamless cylinders. ¬ ru, max. 0.04% of sulfur, the rest is iron and unavoidable impurities, it is characterized by excellent mechanical properties in the normalized state: Rm = 66 Kg / mm 2, Re = 40 Kg / mm 2, A5 = 13%. The second known screen used for pressure vessels contains 0.29-0.37% by weight of carbon, 1.30-1.70% manganese, 0.15-0.30% silicon, 0.05% phosphorus, 0.05% sulfur, the rest is iron and inevitable impurities, and is characterized by the following mechanical properties in a normalized state; Rm = 66-76 Kg / mm2, Re = 42 Kg / mrn2, A5 = 15%. The fabrications of seamless cylinders from these steels, due to their mechanical properties, were characterized by relatively thick walls. In addition, steel with a carbon content of about 0.5% by weight is prone to failure in the smelting process. Despite the use of vacuum degassing of this steel, there are frequent cases of kickback of rods that are semi-finished products for the production of seamless cylinders due to the presence of hydrogen flakes. The steel according to the invention contains 0.27-0.38% by weight of carbon, 1.2 —1.5% manganese, 0.2--0.4% silicon, max. 0.04% phosphorus, max. 0.04% sulfur, the rest is iron and the unavoidable impurities are characterized by the fact that it additionally contains 0.10 to 0.25% by weight of vanadium. The mechanical properties of this steel are: Rm = 65 Kg / mm 2, Re = 52 Kg / mm 2, A5 = 14%. The steel according to the invention makes it possible to produce seamless cylinders with much thinner walls, lighter walls, which gives significant material savings, facilitates transport and does not cause problems during the pressing operation. excessively increases the production costs somewhat, it minimizes the effects obtained on material savings. * Example I. Structural steel according to the invention, containing by weight 0.32% carbon, 1.38% manganese, 0.28% silicon, 0.028% phosphorus, 0.030% 112 304112 304 sulfur, 0.15% vanadium, 0.15% 15% copper, 0.14% chromium, 0.11% nickel, the rest iron and inevitable impurities were characterized by the following mechanical properties: Rm = 77.5 Kg / mm 2, Re = 65 Kg / mm 2, A5 = 18 , 4%. Example II. Structural steel containing 0.30% by weight of carbon, 1.42% of manganese, 0.23% of silicon, 0.035% of phosphorus, 0.035% of sulfur, 0.12% of vanadium, 0.15% of copper, 0.11% of chroim, 0.07% nickel, the rest iron and the inevitable impurities were characterized by the following mechanical properties: Rm = 80.5 Kg / mm 2, Re = 60 Kg / mm 2, A 5 = 21%. Patent disclaimer Structural steel for tanks pressure, containing 0.27-0.38% by weight of carbon, 1.2-1.5% of manganese, 0.2-0.4% of silicon, max. 0.04% phosphorus, max. 0.04% sulfur, the rest iron and unavoidable impurities, characterized by the fact that it contains 0.10-0.25% by weight of vanadium DN-3, z. 425/81 Price PLN 45 PL
