Description

W wyni¬ ku prazenia sole sodu przechodza w postac tlenku sodu a wanad utlenia sie do piatego stopnia utle¬ nienia i z obecnym tlenkiem sodu przereagowuje do wanadanu sodu. W ten sposób do odparo¬ wania wody w pierwszym stopniu lugowania wy¬ korzystuje sie cieplo materialu stalego wyprazo¬ nego do temperatury powyzej 870°K. Wapno dodaje sie w ilosci zblizonej do stechiometrycznej do ilosci jonów siarczanowych w roztworze. Sposób wedlug wynalazku umozliwia odzysk wanadu z materialów stalych, eliminujac w trak¬ cie procesu powstawanie trudnych do zagospo¬ darowania i szkodliwych dla otoczenia odpadów.Gwarantuje równiez otrzymanie produktu kon¬ cowego to znaczy pieciotlenku wanadu wyzsze} czystosci niz w przypadku znanych dotychczas me¬ tod, poniewaz przy straceniu kwasnego" weglanu sodu stracaja sie równiez z roztworu zanieczy¬ szczenia takie jak A120$, Si02, metale ciezkie i nie przechodza do produktu koncowego. PLThe subject of the invention is a method of vanadium recovery from solid materials, especially such as ores, slags, ashes and dust. At present, for the recovery of vanadium from solid materials, a method is used that consists in mixing solid material with sodium compounds, e.g. with NaOH, Na2COs or Na2SO4, preferably to form lumps which are then oxidatively calcined at a temperature above 650 ° C. As a result of roasting, the sodium salts are transformed into sodium oxide, and the vanadium is oxidized to the fifth oxidation stage and reacted with the sodium oxide present to give sodium vanadate. As a rule, the amount of added sodium compounds is many times higher than the stoichiometric amount necessary for the production of sodium vanate. An excess of sodium compounds is necessary both because part of it reacts with other constituents of the solid material, e.g. Al2Os, SiO2, etc., and because of the subsequent leaching process in which sodium oxide dissolves in the water to form hydroxides. the sodium hydroxide, which in turn facilitates the dissolution of the sodium vanadate in the water. The process is generally carried out in a multistage system with the use of counter-current leaching to the solid material. This achieves the required vanadium concentration in the final solution with sufficient vanadium removal from the solid material. Vanadium is separated from the solution obtained in this way, usually by acidifying the solution with sulfuric acid to a pH of 1.5-3.5, thanks to which the hydrated pentoxide of the vanadium is released, which after melting and granulating is a commercial product. . As a result of acidification of the solution, the sodium compounds contained therein are converted into sodium sulfate which remains in the solution. Such a solution is a nuisance effluent, the neutralization or processing of which is troublesome and expensive. In fact, the only method of elimination of the effluent is its evaporation to form crystalline sodium sulphate, which is still a waste product, difficult to store due to its easy solubility in water. Waste sodium sulfate may be used as an additive to the roasting of solid vanadium-bearing material, it fulfills the required role of binding the vanadium in a water-soluble form as long as the calcining temperature is high enough to decompose the sodium sulfate to the oxide. However, such decomposition causes emissions of sulfur dioxide to the atmosphere, which is an undesirable phenomenon. According to the invention, a method of recovering vanadium from solid materials, especially ores, spoils, ashes and dusts, whereby the solid material containing vanadium compounds is is subjected to a roasting process with the addition of sodium, and the calcinated material is leached, as a result of which the sodium salt of the various stages 113 2953 and 113 295 of leaching goes into the solution, characterized by the fact that the solution formed as a result of leaching saturates carbon dioxide, causing the acid sodium carbonate to be precipitated, which, after separation from the solution, is added to the vanadium-bearing solid material to be roasted, leaving the remaining solution to release vanadium. The leaching process is carried out so that the sodium content of the solution after leaching is not less than 30 g / l, which makes it possible to lose the acidic sodium carbonate when the solution is saturated with carbon dioxide. This concentration is ensured by selecting the appropriate volume of the leaching solution in relation to the amount of sodium compounds introduced to the calcination of the solid material, and in the event of the need to thoroughly remove the solid material from sodium compounds and the resulting need to use fresh washing water, by evaporating part of the water from This evaporation is preferably carried out by directing the solution into a first stage leaching tank filled with hot vanadium-bearing material. Thus, the heat of the solid material discharged to a temperature above 870 ° K is used to evaporate the water in the first leaching stage. The condensate after steam condensation can be returned to the final rinse stage as washing water. For leaching the vanadium and sodium compounds contained in the calcined material, except for the last stage of leaching, the solution remaining after the separation of the acid carbonate is used. sodium and separation of vanadium compounds, while for the last stage of leaching, water or an aqueous solution containing not more than 5 g of sodium per liter is used. If the vanadium is separated from the solution by the traditional method by acidifying the entire solution with sulfuric acid, which causes the loss of the hydrated vanadium pentoxide, the acidification of the sodium compounds in the solution turns into sodium sulfate, which is present in the process of leaching ¬nia is not indicated. The use of this solution in the leaching process is only possible after the addition of calcium oxide or hydroxide to it in order to lose the gypsum and obtain sodium hydroxide in solution. The lime is added in an amount approximately stoichiometric to the amount of sulfate ions in the solution. After draining the gypsum, the solution is directed to the process of leaching of vanadium compounds. In the case of countercurrent multistage leaching, the exact selection of the leaching degree to which the circulating solution will be directed depends on a number of parameters such as the content of vanadium in the solid material, the required concentration vanadium in the final leaching solution, the required degree of removal of the weight and sodium compounds from the solid material, the possibility of using additional washing water and the necessary number of leaching stages. In each case, it is necessary to calculate the leaching rate to which it is most advantageous to feed the recycle solution. The specific composition of the required solution after leaching is not of particular importance in the process according to the invention, except for the sodium cation concentration in the solution. The method according to the invention makes it possible to recover vanadium from solids, eliminating during the process, the formation of waste difficult to manage and harmful to the environment. It also guarantees the final product, i.e. vanadium pentoxide, of higher purities than in the previously known methods, because when the acid sodium carbonate is lost, the from the solution, impurities such as Al20A, SiO2, heavy metals and do not pass into the final product. There is also no emission of harmful gases into the atmosphere.; - »¦¦. * 0 •: ii. ¦ ¦ ... Ex. 29 4 m3 of a solution containing 17.4 g of V / L and 90.0 g of Na) obtained in the seven-stage countercurrent leaching of the calcined oxidized magnetite concentrate containing 65% Fe, 0.6 % V, 2% SiO * 2.5% AWs, 3% TiO2 and other ingredients, the content of which is not significant for the course of the process, and to which acid sodium carbonate was added before roasting in such an amount that the sodium contained in it was 1 73% with respect to the magnetite concentrate, is saturated with carbon dioxide until the solution is completely saturated with carbon dioxide. As a result of the reaction, the pH of the solution drops to about 8.3 and acidic sodium carbonate crystallizes out of the solution in an amount corresponding to 1.6 tons of sodium. This salt is filtered from the solution and used to mix with another batch of 100 t of magnesium concentrate, which is then subjected to oxidative calcination and anti-current leaching. After filtering off the acid sodium carbonate, the whole solution is acidified with sulfuric acid until pH 2 is reached. . 0-2.8. As a result, hydrated vanadium pentoxide is precipitated from the solution, filtered and calcined at a temperature above 900 K. After filtering off the vanadium pentoxide, the solution is mixed with quicklime in the amount of 1.30 tons, then the suspension is stirred for 20 minutes, and then the precipitate is filtered off from the solution. The filtered precipitate is waste that can be disposed of as gypsum, and the solution is directed to the fourth stage of the leaching of the precipitated magnetite concentrate. The solution coming from the fifth stage of leaching is also targeted to the same degree. The final stage of the leaching is fed with 29.4 m * of fresh water. Of this amount, 17.6 ms remain in the solid material. The solution obtained in the 7th stage of leaching is passed to the subsequent earlier stages and in the 4th stage it is mixed with the circulating solution. The total volume of the solution after the 4th stage of leaching is 58.2 m 3. This solution, without changing its volume, passes successively to the first stage of leaching, in which it meets the calcinated magnetite concentrate, having a temperature of 800-900 ° K after roasting. As a result, 11.8 m3 of water evaporates from the solution, which, after condensation, is directed to the 7th stage of leaching 5,113,2156 together with 17.6 m3 of fresh water. The solution obtained in the 1st stage of leaching contains about 90 g of Na / l and 17.4 g of V / l. This solution is saturated with carbon dioxide and then subjected to the subsequent operations described in this example. In this way, the circulation of the solution and sodium is closed. The technological losses of sodium are replenished by the addition of sodium compounds (NaOH, Naa08, NaHCOs) to the magnetite concentrate before roasting. Reservations and aten are in 1.
