Description of the industrial design: "Gold Medal named after Jan Chochralski" - A round, double-sided medal in gold colour, made of 900 gold alloy (90% Au, 10% Ag) with a diameter of 36.2 mm and a weight of 35.90 g. - The subject of the design is shown in the attached drawing. Essential features of the industrial design: each side of the medal has a characteristic print: - The obverse of the medal contains: a representation of the bust of prof. Jan Czochralski and an inscription along the line of the circle on the left side with the text: "Jan Czochralski Gold Medal" written in a characteristic decorative font - The reverse of the medal contains: a centrally placed inscription: "for achievements in materials science" written in a characteristic decorative font and an inscription along the line of the circle with the text: "Foundation for Material Science Development".
