Wynalazek dotyczy oslony burty (10) do lodzi do zastosowania w sytuacjach wyciagania na brzeg lub cumowania lodzi, która zawiera elastyczna strukture (26) dostosowana do umieszczania na zewnatrz lodzi, wzdluz burty (24) lodzi, w celu tlumienia energii uderzenia, jak równiez tkanine (14) umieszczona na wierzchu elastycznej struktury (26), do utrzymywania na miejscu elastycznej struktury (26), przy czym tkanina (14) jest ponadto dostosowana do zamocowania jej do burty (24) lodzi (14) za pomoca co najmniej jednego sznura (34) nalezacego do oslony burty (10), w co najmniej jednym punkcie mocujacym (30, 32). Tkanina (14) jest uformowana podwójnie, aby tworzyc przynajmniej jedna falde (36) równolegla do kierunku wzdluznego oslony burty (10) w co najmniej jednym punkcie mocujacym (30, 32), przy czym kazdy sznur (34) jest umieszczony wzdluznie wewnatrz kazdej faldy (36), w celu unieruchomienia faldy w kazdym punkcie mocujacym (30, 32) oraz w celu rozprowadzania naprezenia równomiernie na tkaninie (14) za pomoca kazdej faldy (36) i kazdego sznura (34).
