Przedmiotem wzoru użytkowego jest izolowana rura, zwłaszcza do systemów solarnych, która może być również stosowana w instalacjach sanitarnych, grzewczych, połączeniach klimatyzacyjnych, chłodniczych itp. Izolowana rura, zwłaszcza do systemów solarnych posiadająca warstwę izolacyjną wykonaną z maty aerożelowej (2) oplecionej linką (3) oraz nałożoną na matę warstwę ochronną (4) charakteryzuje się tym, że warstwę ochronną rury (1) stanowi termokurczliwa osłona (4) pokrywająca szczelnie matę aerożelową (2), przy czym rura (1) wykonana jest ze stali nierdzewnej i posiada poprzeczne równoległe karby (1A). Warstwa ochronna w postaci termokurczliwej osłony (4) wykonana jest z modyfikowanego poliolefinu.
