Powłoka wyciszająca protezy serca charakteryzuje się tym, że składa się z osłony bocznej (1) w kształcie zbliżonym do tulei o eliptycznym przekroju poprzecznym i czterech połówek(2) denek, z których każde dwa nałożone są u podstaw osłony bocznej (1), przy czym połówki (2) denek mają kołnierz obwodowy (4) oraz dwa wycięcia (5) na króćce (6) pudełka (7), w którym lokalizowane są zespoły pompujące protezy serca, zaś osłona boczna (1) ma króciec wylotowy do wypompowywania powietrza z przestrzeni między osłoną boczną (1), a pudełkiem (7), w którym lokalizowane są zespoły pompujące protezy serca.
