Szyld (1) posiada co najmniej cztery otwory mocujace, przy czym stosunek szerokosci szyldu (1) do grubosci zewnetrznej profilu (4) wynosi od 0,55 do 0,9. Szyldy okucia maja zastosowanie jako szyld zamka, szyld elektrozaczepu, szyld rygla i temu podobnych.
