Abstract
The subject of the utility model is a cell culture chip used to conduct tests with biological material. The microchip consists of two connected plates - glass (1) and polymer (2), the glass plate (1) has a culture microcell array (3) in a linear arrangement and the polymer plate (2) has microchannels (4) forming a concentration gradient generator , comprising two inlet channels (5a) and (5b) for introducing two concentrations of test substances and outlet channels (6) connected to the culture microcells (3) and connecting the culture microcells (3) together along the microchip. On the side of the two inlet channels (5a) and (5b) there are three microchannels (4), each subsequent stage of the concentration gradient generator created by the microchannels (4) contains one more microchannel and in the last stage of the concentration generator created by the microchannels (4) there is the number of microchannels that corresponds to the number of microcell culture lines (3). In addition, the microcircuit contains a hole (7) drilled in the polymer plate (7) for introducing cells and culture media. The chip is characterized by the fact that it is equipped with a transparent heater (8) with electrical contacts (9) located on the underside of the glass plate (1).
