Wiertarka ręczna zawiera silnik hydrauliczny (6), chwyt wiertła (7), dwa uchwyty z rękojeścią (2) prostopadłe do osi silnika, gdzie na co najmniej jednym z uchwytów (2) osadzony jest element włączający, w postaci dźwigni (1), połączony cięgłem z przyłączem czynnika roboczego (8). Wiertarka charakteryzuje się tym, że dźwignia sterująca otwarciem zaworu zasilania silnika hydraulicznego (1) ma kształt płaskiej płytki i uruchamia dopływ czynnika roboczego poprzez przesunięcie jej w stronę uchwytu (2) w kierunku od operatora.
