Uszczelnienie wału podajnika (3) maszyny rolniczej, a zwłaszcza prasy silosującej polega na tym, że do drugiej ściany komory współosiowo z wałem podajnika (3) zamocowana jest oprawa (17) w kształcie płaskiej tulei, w której od strony wału podajnika (3) znajduje się gniazdo (20), a w nim osadzona jest uszczelka (21), przy czym gniazdo (20) jest od zewnątrz przysłonięte przesłoną (24) zamocowaną do oprawy (17), zaś zewnętrzna część oprawy (17) ma postać kołnierza (25) wyposażonego w szereg otworów (26).
