Ponadto w części dysku (1), nie objętej wycięciem kształtowym (4), umieszczone są dwie podpory (6), w kształcie połowy półksiężyców. Kotwica jest łatwa w obsłudze, skuteczna w stosowaniu, przeznaczona do stosowania w jednostkach pływających wykorzystywanych zwłaszcza w żeglarstwie.
