The essential features of an industrial design are manifested in the fact that repetitive geometric motifs, such as rectangular fields filled with longitudinal lines containing geometric symbols and figures such as rectangles, rhombuses in transverse stripes, circles bounded by chords of various textures, or appearing alone, as well as rectangles placed within another rectangular field filled with a decorative motif, zigzag symbols, and other ornaments, are placed in various positions on the fabric surface, next to each other in geometric groups or rows. All the motifs of the industrial design are arranged against a fabric with a heterogeneous surface, as shown in the drawing and photograph. All the described decorative motifs, cyclically repeating on the fabric surface, when selected in appropriately complementary colors, give the fabric a unique appearance as a decorative, ornamental, upholstery, and curtain fabric.
