Pokrywa (3) o wymiarach mniejszych od płyty zwierciadła (1) jest kształtką z tworzywa sztucznego, termoformowaną podciśnieniowo i mającą zaokrąglone w narożach obrzeże (4). Na obwodową krawędź obrzeża (4) nałożona jest elastyczno - sprężysta uszczelka (5) o profilu "U", dociskana do płyty zwierciadła (1) śrubami (7), które osadzone są w gniazdach dociskowych (6) pokrywy (3). Gniazda dociskowe (6) odsadzone są do wewnątrz pokrywy (3), a gniazda mocujące (8) na zewnątrz.
