Przyrząd nastawny posiada korpus (1) w postaci pionowej ścianki zaopatrzonej w otwory (4), zawiera od strony górnej zawias (7) łączący korpus (1) z płytą dolną (2), a brzeg płyty dolnej (2) usytuowany prostopadle do zawiasu (7) połączony jest drugim zawiasem (8) z płytą górną (3) wyposażoną w otwory do mocowania uchwytu obrabianego przedmiotu, przy czym zawiasy (7, 8) składają się z nakrętek (10) zespolonych z górnym brzegiem pionowej ścianki korpusu (1) albo z płytą dolną (2), oraz ze śrub (11) zespolonych z płytą dolną (2) albo z płytą górną (3), poza tym przyrząd wyposażony jest w śrubę nastawną (12) osadzoną w nakrętce (6) korpusu (1), śrubę nastawną (13) i śrubę kontrującą (14) zespoloną z płytą górną (3).
