Podbieracz pokosu składa się z belki (11) zaopatrzonej w środku długości w prostopadły do niej trzpień (12), zaś do końca belki (11) zamocowany jest policzek (13), w którym obrotowo osadzony jest pierwszy bęben ślimakowy (14) a powyżej niego obrotowo osadzony jest drugi bęben ślimakowy (15). Na pierwszym bębnie ślimakowym (14) wahliwie osadzony jest bok (16) bębna podbierającego (17). Do zewnętrznej powierzchni boku (16) zamocowane jest koło kopiujące (18). Płaszczyzna prostopadła do belki (11) i zawierająca w sobie jednocześnie oś trzpienia (12) stanowi płaszczyznę symetrii podbieracza.
