Wysięgnik teleskopowy modułowy charakteryzuje się tym, że pomiędzy rurą zewnętrzną (3) wysięgnika a rurą wewnętrzną (5) znajduje się rura pośrednia (4) wyposażona w kształtowe gniazda, w których osadzone są ślizgi, których powierzchnie ślizgowe są ograniczone rurą zewnętrzną (3) i wewnętrzną (5).
