Obie komplementarne części (2) zamknięcia (3) strunowego usytuowane są w stosunku do siebie i w stosunku do krawędzi (4) taśmy (1) równolegle. Obie komplementarne części (2) zamknięcia (3) strunowego usytuowane są w pewnym oddaleniu od krawędzi (4) taśmy (1). Przedmiotowa taśma znajduje zastosowanie do wytwarzania woreczków z zamknięciem strunowym o różnej szerokości uzyskiwanych z jednej taśmy.
