Abstract

The subject of the application is an overlay floor, an additional floor for motor vehicles, intended for mounting seats, wheelchairs or other equipment in it. The overlay floor has a shape adapted to the mother floor of the vehicle in which it is to be fitted. In the plate (1), consisting of three layers (5, 6, 7) glued together, there are longitudinal mounting seats (2), in which mounting rails (3) are placed with a shaped groove (4) at the top, intended for connecting elements of equipment. The layers of the plate (1) are the supporting plate (5) which constitutes the lower layer, the upper layer is the decorative plate (7), and between the supporting plate (5) and the decorative plate (7) there is a filling layer (6). The retaining seats (2), in which the mounting rails (3) are mounted, are made in the decorative plate (7) and the filling layer (6). The bottom of the settling seats (2) is the support plate (5), which is uniform. The mounting rails (3) are glued into the mounting seats (2) so that the longitudinal flanges (8) of the mounting rails (3) rest on the upper surface of the decorative layer (7). At the top, between the flanges (8), there is a shaped groove (4) with a cross-section in the form of an inverted T-letter. Connective elements of the equipment, which may be chairs, a wheelchair, or the T-ends of tapes, are inserted into this groove (4) fastening a special load, placed on the overlay floor. After the accessories are positioned on the overlay floor, the accessories lock into the mounting rails (3). Most often, the mounting rails (3) and the support plate (5) are made of aluminum. The decorative layer (7) is made of plywood, and the filling layer (6) is made of styrodur or polystyrene.
