Palnik (1) ogrzewacza gazowego, zwłaszcza ogrzewacza ogrodowego, jest wyposażony w obudowę (2), przez którą przechodzi rurka mieszalnika (3) z przelotowym otworem (4) umieszczonym poza obudową (2). Obudowa (2) jest zamknięta od góry płytą zamykającą (8) wyposażoną w zestaw przelotowych otworów (9). Obudowa (2) ma kształt ściętego ostrosłupa rozszerzającego się ku górze, zaś rurka mieszalnika (3) na swym końcu umieszczonym w wewnątrz obudowy (2) zaopatrzona jest w odgięte łopatki (6) tworzące kierownicę dla mieszanki paliwowo - powietrznej. Nad obudową (2) palnika (1), poniżej płyty zamykającej (8) umieszczona jest co najmniej jedna siatka (7).
