Abstract
Wtyczka E2 charakteryzuje się tym, że posiada dwa wejścia uziemiające (4), wejścia te połączone są elektrycznie z potencjałem przewodu ochronnego, wejścia te umieszczone są na pionowej osi symetrii (6) wtyczki oraz symetrycznie względem poziomej osi symetrii (5) wtyczki, każde z wejść ma takie same wymiary jak wejście uziemiające w klasycznej wersji wtyczki typu E, każde z wejść uziemiających jest oddalone od poziomej osi symetrii na taką samą odległość, na jaką oddalone jest wejście uziemiające od poziomej osi symetrii w klasycznej wersji wtyczki typu E. Wtyczka E2 posiada styki uziemiające po bokach wtyczki, jak we wtyczce typu F.
