Abstract

The subject of the application are two congruent truncated pyramids with parallel bases that are spherical triangles with constant angle values for use in the construction of spherical solids. The angles between the faces in a spherical pyramid have constant values and are: angle ABC is 90° (with a tolerance of ±1°), angle BCA is 60° (with a tolerance of ±1°), angle CAB is 36° (with a tolerance of ±1°). The vertex angles in the pyramids have constant values and are: angle COA is 37.3773° (with a tolerance of ±1°), angle BOC is 20.9051° (with a tolerance of ±1°), and angle AOB is 31.7175° (with a tolerance of ±1°). The dimensions of the triangular spherical bases depend on the radii of the sphere being constructed.
