Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób i urzadzenie do prowadzenia analizy termicznej sub¬ stancji w oparoiu o rejestrowane krzywe bedace pochodnymi krzywych róznicowej analizy ter^ micznej i róznicowej analizy termograwimetrycznej. Z licznych publikacji, a zwlaszoza z pu¬ blikacji W. Wendlandt pod tytulem "Thermal Methods of Analyeis" A. filey-Interscience Pu^ blication John Wiley and Sons New York, London, fiiydney, Toronto 1974, znapyoh jest wiele metod analizy termicznej. Do podstawowych metod analizy termicznej zalicza sie termograwi- metrie, badajaca zmiane masy próbki w czasie ogrzewania, oraz róznicowa analize termiczna badajaca zmiane róznicy temperatury próbki badanej i temperatury substancji wzorcowej w funkcji temperatury. Otrzymywane krzywe sa malo czytelne i trud¬ ne do interpretacji. Najczesciej substancja wzorcowa jest tlenek glinu odmiany aC • Urzadzenia te pozwalaja rejestrowac zmiane masy, szybkosc zmian masy i róznice miedzy temperatura próbki badanej i próbki wzorcowej w funkcji tempe¬ ratury. Niedogodnosc obecnych urzadzen usuwa urzadzenie wedlug wynalazku. Uzyskane krzywe sa pochodnymit róznicowa termograwimetria wzgledem temperatury, podczas gdy w obec¬ nych metodach wzgledem czasu; pochodna róznicowej analizy termograwimetrycznej wzgledem czasu; pochodna róznicowej analizy termicznej wzgledem temperatury. 1 i fig. Przyklad 1. Na ramionach wagi 1 charakteryzujacej sie wysoka doklad¬ noscia zamocowane sa oslonki z termoelementami 2* Na oslonkach znajduja sie w jednako¬ wych tygielkach 3 jednakowo przygotowane próbki analizowanej substancji. Zamiast selenoidu do rejestracji wychylenia i szybkosci wy¬ chylenia wagi mozna stosowac inne urzadzenia na przyklad toroid, wskazówke z ukladem op¬ tycznym itp. •13* 802 3 Zastrzezenia patentowe 1. Naklad 100 egz.Cena 100 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method and a device for carrying out thermal analysis of substances based on recorded curves which are derived from the curves of differential thermal analysis and differential thermogravimetric analysis. From the numerous publications, including the publication by W. Wendlandt under the title "Thermal Methods of Analyzes" by A. filey-Interscience Publication John Wiley and Sons New York, London, Fiiydney, Toronto 1974, there are many methods of thermal analysis. The basic methods of thermal analysis include thermogravimetry, examining the change in mass of the sample during heating, and differential thermal analysis, examining the change in temperature difference of the test sample and the temperature of the reference substance as a function of temperature. On the basis of the curves of the thermogravimetric analysis, it is possible to determine the chemical transformations, and on the basis of the curves of the differential thermal analysis, the thermal effects accompanying chemical and physical changes. In the thermogravimetric method and in the differential thermal analysis, there is a limitation related to the fact that many substances undergo successive changes, whose temperature ranges overlap or are very close. The obtained curves are not legible and difficult to interpret. In the case of thermogravimetry, these disadvantages are eliminated by the series differential thermogravimetry, the curve of which is derived from the thermogravimetric curve. The number of extreme points on the differential thermogravimetry curve indicates the number of stages of transformation taking place. However, it does not allow for a certain determination of the number of changes and the temperature ranges of individual changes. So far, no method of obtaining derivative curves from differential thermogravimetric analysis and differential thermal analysis directly as a result of experiment has been developed. a sticky device for thermal analysis, for example a MOM Budapest derivatograph, consists of a furnace, a balance with a thermocouple mounted on one of the arms in an axis, and a selenoid moving in a homogeneous way is attached to the other wound of the balance. or magnetic. In the furnace space, next to the crucible with the test sample, placed on the thermocouple sheath, mounted on the balance arm, there are two thermocouples, on the sheaths, the crucibles with the standard substance are located. The most common reference substance is alumina of the aC type. These devices allow to record the mass change, the rate of mass change and the difference between the temperature of the test sample and the reference sample as a function of temperature. These devices do not allow the recording of curves derived from the rate of decomposition (rate of change, mass), from the curve of differential thermal analysis. The curves derived from the curves of differential thermogravimetric analysis and differential thermal analysis make it possible to determine the number of steps of mass changes and the thermal effects accompanying these changes and physical changes, while determining the temperature ranges of these changes. The inconvenience of the present devices is removed by the device according to the invention. The method of thermal analysis according to the invention is based on the fact that two equally prepared samples of the test substance are heated while maintaining a constant difference in the temperature of the surroundings of these samples. The recorded curves are analyzed using a recorder of a known design, in the device according to the invention, the curves showing the change in the difference in mass of the samples, the rate of changes difference in mass of samples and change of temperature difference between samples as a function of temperature of one of the samples. The curves obtained are derived from the differential thermogravimetry with respect to temperature, while in the present methods, with respect to time; derivative of differential thermogravimetric analysis with time; derivative of the differential thermal analysis with respect to temperature. The device according to the invention is built of a high-accuracy balance of any solution, on the arms of which thermocouples are mounted in the shells. Crucibles with samples of the test substance are placed on the thermocouple shells. The samples are heated with two or one furnace in a way that ensures a constant temperature difference between the surroundings of the samples. A constant temperature difference is obtained by maintaining a constant temperature difference between the furnaces or by isolating one of the samples with a cover with a known and constant heat transfer coefficient in the temperature range tested. The recorder, according to known solutions, registers the scale deflection, the speed of the scale deflection and the temperature differences of the tested samples as a function of the temperature of one of the samples or as a function of time with a linear temperature rise. The weight deflection curve corresponds to the differential thermogravimetry, the weight deflection rate curve corresponds to the differential thermogravimetry derivative, the temperature difference curve corresponds to the derivative of the differential thermal analysis. The method of thermal analysis and the device according to the invention are shown in the figure in which Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. they are exemplary of the invention without limiting its scope. Example 1. Shells with thermocouples 2 are mounted on the arms of a high-accuracy balance 1. The shells contain 3 samples of the analyzed substance, in identical crucibles, in identical crucibles. The samples are covered with furnaces 4, the temperature of which rises so that the temperature difference between the temperature of these furnaces is kept constant all the time. On one of the arms of the balance, a selenoid 5 is suspended, placed in a uniform magnetic field. During the analysis, it is possible to measure the temperature of one of the furnaces, the difference between the temperature in both samples, the weight deflection and the rate of the balance deflection by measuring the currents induced in the selenoid, proportional to the rate of changes in its position. Example 2 The arrangement shown in Fig. 2 differs from the previous one in that the heating of the samples is carried out with one furnace 4, and the temperature differences between the environments of the samples are obtained by applying to one sample a shield 6 made of a material with a constant factor heat transfer in the temperature range studied. Instead of selenoid for recording the deflection and the rate of deflection of the balance, other devices can be used, for example a toroid, a pointer with an optical system, etc. • 13 * 802 3 Patent claims 1.
