Description

Sole te zmieniaja równowage w ukladzie: NaCl- CaS04-H20 powodujac zmniejszenie rozpuszczalnosci siarczanu wapniowego.W sposobie wedlug wynalazku sulfoniany rozpuszczalne w wodzie dodaje sie w ilosci 0,1-50g/m3 do solanki zubozalej korzystnie alkalicznej kierowanej do dosycania sola. Przyklad I. Solanke obiegowa w procesie produkcji chloru metoda rteciowa o stezeniu chlorku sodowego 270 kg/m3 i stezeniu jonów wapniowych 0,3 kg/m3 dosyca sie sola zawierajaca 1,1% SO42 dodajac do solanki kierowanej do dosycania dodecylobenzenosulfonian sodowy w ilosci 1 g/m3. Stezenie jonów siarczanowych w solance w warunkach ustalonych wynosi 3,65 kg/m3. Pracownia Poligraficzna U? Naklad 100 egz.Cena 100 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of reducing the concentration of sulphate ions in brine, especially in the circulating brine in the production of chlorine by the mercury method. The previously known methods of reducing the concentration of sulphate ions in the circulating brine consist in their removal in the form of sparingly soluble boric or calcium sulphates. Supplementation of brine in conditions of high pH and high concentration of calcium ions is also used in order to reduce the dissolution rate of the anhydrite contained in the salt. It is also known from the East German Patent No. 115,341 to obtain brine with a low concentration of sulfate ions by adding to the salt dissolving water or to salts of soluble salts of sulfonic acids. These salts change the equilibrium in the NaCl-CaSO 4 -H 2 O system, reducing the solubility of calcium sulphate. In the method of the invention, water-soluble sulphonates are added in an amount of 0.1-50 g / m3 to a depleted, preferably alkaline brine directed to the salt saturation. The sulfonates used are alkylsulfonates, alkylarylsulfonates, heterocyclic sulfonates or mixtures thereof. The addition of the above-mentioned organic compounds to brine with a high concentration of sodium chloride is advantageous compared to adding them to salt dissolving water, as it avoids the salt concentration in the brine going over a range of about 130-150 kg / m3, in which the NaCl concentration, solubility calcium sulfate in brine is greatest. Thanks to this, brine with a low concentration of sulphate ions can be obtained even with a very low concentration of organic compounds of 1 g / m3 and less. Moreover, the high initial concentration of the supplemented brine causes that the added organic compounds not only reduce the solubility of calcium sulfate, but also reduce its dissolution rate, which, under certain conditions, does not allow to achieve equilibrium in the system and gives the additional effect of lowering the concentration of sulfate ions in the brine. Circulation brine under steady conditions. Example I. Circulating brine in the chlorine production process mercury method with sodium chloride concentration of 270 kg / m3 and calcium ion concentration of 0.3 kg / m3, saturated with salt containing 1.1% SO42 by adding dodecylbenzenesulfonate to the brine directed to the saturation sodium in the amount of 1 g / m3. The concentration of sulphate ions in the brine under steady conditions is 3.65 kg / m3. For comparison, in the absence of sodium dodecylbenzene sulphonate, the concentration of sulphate ions under the same conditions is 5.75 kg / m3.2 135 595 Example II. The procedure is as in Example 1 with the addition of sodium dodecylbenzene sulphonate in an amount of 5 g / m3. The concentration of sulphate ions in the brine under steady-state conditions is 3.30 kg / m3. Patent claim A method of reducing the concentration of sulphate ions in brine, especially in the circulating process of chlorine production by the mercury method by adding water-soluble sulphonates, characterized by the fact that sulphonates are added in the amount of 0.1-50 g / m3 to impoverished brine, preferably alkaline, intended for salt saturation.
