Description

Przyklad. Wokól generatora plazmy, którego dysza anody ma srednice wewnetrzna równa 10 mm i dlugosc czesci cylindrycznej 36 mm, a srednica zewnetrzna kor¬ pusu 70 mm, zainstalowano selenoid zasilany pradem stalym, wytwarzanym w prostowniku jednopolówkowym, a wiec modulowanym czestoscia sieciowa i jej wielokrotnosciami. Erozja anody praktycznie ustala, gdy przy 30 KW mocy luku selenoid zasilano pradem stalym o na¬ tezeniu 200 A 1 modulowanym pradem przemiennym o maksymalnej amplitudzie 180 A 1 czesto¬ tliwosci 100 Hz.Zastrzezenia patentowe 1. Naklad 100 egz.Cena 100 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a method of generating plasma, especially hydrogen plasma. The invention is intended for use in high-temperature chemical, metallurgical or physicochemical processes. The well-known methods of generating a hydrogen plasma are based on the fact that inside the body, with a shape similar to a suitably profiled pipe, between two also suitably shaped and coaxially embedded in the electrode body, the cathode in the form of a cone or cylinder, and the anode, in the form of a cooling nozzle. By known methods, a stream of hydrogen is introduced into the reaction chamber, which is an extension of the anode nozzle, and an electric gap is burned between the electrodes, flowing from the cathode and contacting at some point with the anode wall, called the anode "spot". The gas flowing through the gap heats up If the spot is not very mobile, electrical and thermal erosion causes - despite intensive water cooling of the anode walls - so rapid material losses of the anode that practically this known method of anode protection cannot be used. To avoid this phenomenon, or at least, to reduce the erosive action of the electric arc, in plasma generators known from the patent No. 93,427, the "spot" is brought into motion by acting around the anode in a rotating transverse or longitudinal magnetic field, energizing the electromagnet with a single or three-phase alternating current. The rotating magnetic field affects the plasma stream, and especially its tip, the so-called anode "spot", which causes the spot to move circumferentially on the inner surface of the anode nozzle. • The essence of the invention is the modulation of a constant magnetic field with an alternating current generating around the anode a magnetic field with a time-varying value of the field intensity, which causes an electric arc anode spot to move along a multi-turn helical line on the inner surface of the anode nozzle and, consequently, significantly extends the life of the anode nozzle. The method of generating plasma, especially hydrogen, according to the invention consists in this that to the inside of the body, with a shape similar to a suitably profiled pipe, between two electrodes, also suitably shaped and embedded in the body, the cathode in a cone or cylinder and the anode in the form of a nozzle cooled by known methods and possibly into the reaction chamber, which is an extension At the anode nozzle, a stream of hydrogen is introduced, and an electric gap burns between the generator electrodes. The gas stream flowing through the hatch is heated and ionized, and the point of contact of the electric arc with the anode walls, called the anode "spot", is set in motion, acting on the magnetic field generated around the anode, characterized by the fact that the electric current that produces it modulates The advantage of the method according to the invention is a significant extension of the anode's lifetime, as well as the possibility of feeding the electrodes and selenoid from one energy source 1 in a series connection, which facilitates the selection of the correct characteristics of the power supply 1, resulting in significant savings, consisting in simplification of the structure of the selenoid feeder. Example: Around the plasma generator, the anode nozzle of which has an internal diameter of 10 mm and a cylindrical part length of 36 mm, and an external body diameter of 70 mm, a selenoid powered by a constant current, produced in a single-pole rectifier, i.e. modulated network frequency and its multiples The anode erosion practically determines when At 30 KW of arc power, the selenoid was fed with a constant current of 200 A and modulated alternating current with a maximum amplitude of 180 A and a frequency of 100 Hz. Patent claims 1.
