PLThe subject of the invention is a method of producing a detergent dispersant additive for lubricating oils. Additives of this type are used to refine oils for spark-ignition and self-ignition engines, providing them with neutralizing, dispersing, antioxidant, anti-corrosive and anti-wear properties. The additive obtained according to the invention is obtained on the basis of sulfurized calcium alkylphenolates. According to Polish Patent No. 142,216, the method of producing sulfurized calcium alkylphenates consists in sulfurizing the alkylphenol in the presence of alkali metal hydroxides while maintaining specific molar ratios of regents. The obtained sulfurized alkylphenol, containing 5-13% by mass of sulfur, is diluted with oil to a sulfur content in a solution of 2.5-10.0% by mass. Then it is made alkaline with calcium hydroxide to obtain an alkaline reserve of 100 mg KDH / g against mixed alkalization promoter. The oil solution of sulfurized alkylphenol can also be alkalinized and carbonized to obtain an alkaline reserve of 150 mg KDH / g. It has been found that sulfurized calcium alkylphenolates used with a succinimide or Mannich base dispersant show synergism and therefore constitute a composition that gives the oils higher properties. According to the invention, the detergent-dispersant additive is prepared from an alkylphenol of 9-12 carbon atoms in the alkyl chain by adding elemental sulfur and calcium hydroxide while maintaining a molar ratio of 1.05-4 moles alkylphenol per 1 mole of calcium hydroxide and the promoter polyhydric alcohol, preferably ethylene glycol in the amount of 0.8-4 moles of ethylene glycol per 1 mole of alkylphenol or a mixed promoter consisting of a mixture of diethanolamine and alkylphenol or its ethoxylated derivative mixed in a ratio of 4-9 noles of diethanolamine and 1-2.5 moles of alkylphanol or its ethoxylated derivative, the amount of mixed promoter used is such that the concentration of diethanolamine in the reaction medium is 0.06-0.3 mol per mol of sulfurized alkylphanol. The reaction is carried out at a temperature of 95-135 ° C for 2-6 hours, using a nitrogen purge at all times and receiving reaction water and ethylene glycol if used. Then, mineral oil is added to the reaction mixture in an amount ensuring a concentration of calcium alkytophenate at 30-60% by weight and the carbon dioxide is passed through at a temperature of 120-140 ° C for about 2 hours in an amount sufficient to provide the finished product content of 1.5-5% by weight of CO2 «The crude product is filtered with a filter aid at 140 ° C. After filtration, ashless dispersant of the alkenylsuccinic acid amide type with a molecular weight of 1500-2500 or Mannich's base with a molecular weight of 1500-2500 is added in an amount of up to 50% by mass, preferably up to 30% by mass, and mixed for 30 minutes at 70 ° C.
