The industrial design is a bunk bed with two levels of sleeping space, used in small apartments, especially in children's rooms. The essence of the bunk bed based on the industrial design is the original bed structure supporting the beds with protective rails and a corner ladder, giving the bed a unique appearance. The bunk bed based on the industrial design is shown in Figure 1, which shows a general axonometric view of the bed. The bunk bed based on the industrial design is a three-dimensional, cuboid, open-plan structure with two levels of beds arranged one above the other. The bed's structure is supported by four vertically positioned beams, split in half, to which two levels of beds are detachably attached with screws. These levels have protective rails constructed of slats connected at the top by a slat. On the shorter sides of both levels, the upper rail securing the rail slats is rounded with an arc, above which a second arc-shaped slat is attached. At the front, the lower level of the bed has a protective rail extending more than halfway along the first bed, while the part without a rail has a built-in vertical ladder in the corner, allowing access to the second, higher level of the bed. The protective rail around the second, higher bed connects to the ladder and has an open space only the width of the ladder rungs. Under the lower bunk of the industrial-design bed are two drawers that slide out toward the front of the bed, as shown in Figure 1. A significant feature of the industrial-design bunk bed is the wooden bed structure supported by four edge beams divided above the safety rails and arch-shaped bracing on the shorter, lateral sides of the bed, so that both levels of the bed are symmetrical, excluding the length of the safety rail on the front end of the bed. A significant feature of the industrial-design bunk bed is a ladder permanently placed in the corner of the bed and forming part of its supporting structure, while the upper bunk rail is attached to the vertical element of the bed ladder.
