Abstract

The device has a protector mechanism with a slider block (32) carrying a movable contact. The block is selectively moved in translation by an actuator (31) along an axis passing between two fixed contacts (21, 22). A releasing unit (4) has a driving mechanism (41) and a latch (42) mounted on the block. The latch has a toggle lever (421) controlled by the mechanism (41), and selectively declutching the block from the actuator.
