Układ automatycznego precyzyjnego ciągłego dostrajania filtru pasmowo-zaporowego RC w miernikach zniekształceń nieliniowychAutomatic continuous fine tuning of the RC band-stop filter in nonlinear distortion meters

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest układ automatycznego precyzyjnego ciągłego dostrajania filtru pasmowo-zaporowego RC w miernikach zniekształceń nieliniowych. The subject of the invention is a system of automatic, continuous fine-tuning of the RC band-stop filter in nonlinear distortion meters.

„Filters, oscilators, amplifiers, phasemeters, function generators, distortion analyzers, s. 50, pracujący w układzie podwójnego T, z automatycznym precyzyjnym dostrajaniem ciągłym, posiada on dwa komparatory fazy. The active RC band-block filter is known from the catalog published in 1979/80 by the KROHN-HITE INSTRUMENTS company, entitled "Filters, oscilators, amplifiers, phasemeters, function generators, distortion analyzers, p. 50, working in a double-T circuit, with automatic continuous fine tuning, it has two phase comparators. The outputs of these comparators control the light sources of the photoelectric transducers fine-tuning the filter branches. One of the inputs of each comparator is supplied with an appropriately amplified signal from the output of this filter. The input signal is fed to the second inputs of the comparators from the input of the RC bandpass filter, which is the input of the entire system. Between the filter input and the comparators, phase shifters are connected, on which the signals are shifted by 90 ° in relation to each other, regardless of the input waveform applied to the filter input. Both comparators control the photoelectric converters via separate low-pass filters, resistance and amplifiers powering the light sources of these converters.

The work of the system is based on the fact that the distorted input signal, fed simultaneously to the input of the RC band-stop filter and to the phase shifter, after passing through the pre-tuned RC band-stop filter, AC voltage divider, used to set the sensitivity of the measurement of distortions and amplified by the amplifier alternating voltage with a constant gain factor, is given to the inputs of the phase comparators. The DC voltage signals from the comparators, after passing through the low-pass filters, control, through appropriate constant resistances, the amplifiers powering the light sources of the photoelectric converters, and the changes in the illumination of the light sources cause changes in the photoresistance of the band-block filter branch towards more precise tuning. The disadvantage of this solution is the continuous increase, up to the supercritical value, of the adjustment speed as the measurement sensitivity is increased by reducing the AC voltage divider damping, which leads to unstable operation in the most sensitive measurement ranges.

Układ automatycznego precyzyjnego ciągłego dostrajania filtru pasmowo-zaporowego RC w miernikach zniekształceń nieliniowych według wynalazku posiada również dwa komparatory fazy sterujące przetwornikami fotoelektrycznymi, za pośrednictwem oddzielnych filtrów dolnoprzepustowych, rezystancji i wzmacniaczy zasilających źródła światła tych przetworników, dostrajającymi gałęzie filtru. Jedno wejście każdego komparatora jest połączone, poprzez wzmacniacz napięcia zmiennego, z wyjściem dzielnika napięcia zmiennego, którego wejście jest połączone z wyjściem filtru pasmowo-zaporowego RC. Drugie wejście każdego komparatora jest połączone, poprzez oddzielny przesuwnik fazy, z wejściem filtru pasmowo-zaporowego RC stanowiącym wejście całego układu. The automatic continuous fine-tuning of the RC bandpass filter in the nonlinear distortion meters according to the invention also has two phase comparators controlling the photoelectric transducers through separate low pass filters, resistance and amplifiers powering the light sources of these transducers, fine-tuning the filter branches. One input of each comparator is connected, via an AC voltage amplifier, to the output of an AC voltage divider, the input of which is connected to the output of the RC band-stop filter. The second input of each comparator is connected, via a separate phase shifter, to the input of the RC band-stop filter as the input of the entire system.

The output of each low-pass filter, located at the output of each comparator, is connected to the summation input of the comparator-controlled amplifier powering the light sources of the photoelectric converters through analog memory cells and a branch of parallel connected resistors, the number of resistors in the branch connected to the summation input of each of the amplifier may be at most equal to the number of sub-ranges of the AC voltage divider. The outputs of each sub-range of this divider, except the outputs of the least sensitive sub-ranges, are respectively connected to the control inputs of the analog memories they control, and the output of each analog memory is connected in series with the corresponding resistor.

Efektem stosowania wynalazku jest zatem wyeliminowanie niestabilności pracy na najczulszych podzakresach mierników zniekształceń nieliniowych pracujących w cyklu automatycznym dostrajania filtru pasmowo-zaporowego RC.The input signal is phase shifted on the phase shifter such that the waveform given to the first comparator is shifted by 90 ° from the waveform given to the second comparator regardless of the shape of the input waveform. Signals of switching on each sub-range of the AC voltage divider, except for the least sensitive ones, control respectively in both branches of the regulation, each with their memory, leaving the voltages applied to the resistors at the level occurring at the moment of switching on the respective sub-range, while the signals from switching the sub-ranges of the AC voltage divider towards increasing the sensitivity of the meter nonlinear distortion causes the voltage to be retained on the outputs of the analog memories controlled by them at the previous level, and the signals from both comparators will continue to drive the amplifiers through the remaining non-blocked resistors, reducing the tuning speed and maintaining the stability of the automatic tuning of the nonlinear distortion meter. When the most sensitive sub-range is activated, the signals from the comparators will drive the amplifiers only through resistors not in series with the analog memories, further reducing the tuning speed while maintaining proper stability. The result of the application of the invention is therefore the elimination of instability of work on the most sensitive sub-ranges of the nonlinear distortion meters operating in the automatic tuning cycle of the RC band-stop filter.

The subject of the invention is presented in the embodiment in the drawing which is a schematic block diagram of the automatic fine tuning of the RC bandpass filter in the nonlinear distortion meter.

WE of the system, containing, apart from the fundamental frequency, also components with harmonic frequencies, simultaneously enters the input of the RC F band-stop filter, coarsely tuned to the fundamental frequency, and the phase shifters ęoii q> 2, through which the comparators are controlled KI and K2. After passing through the F filter, the harmonic signal, which, due to its coarse tuning, also partially the fundamental, enters the DNZ AC voltage divider with four sub-ranges A, B, C, D, from which the AC voltage amplifier is controlled. After amplification, the signal with inaccurately filtered fundamental component is fed to the second inputs of the comparators KI and K2. As the variable components are filtered out by the FDP low-pass filters, the phase comparison at the outputs of the comparators KI and K2 produces error signals in the form of DC voltages. When the F filter is coarse-tuned and the residual signal is large, then the AC voltage divider DNZ is set to large damping in position D, and the AC amplifier is driven enough to drive the comparators KI and K2. Then, on the outputs of the A and B sub-ranges, the voltage levels are such that the analog memories Ma and Mb controlled by them pass voltage changes from the comparator outputs KI and K2, causing the amplifiers W to be driven not only by

Sygnały błędów są więc dla tego podzakresu wzmacniane sumą sygnałów z rezystorów m2R, mR i R. Sygnał z rezystora R jest największy, ponieważ R<mR<m2 R i zmiany świecenia sterowanych ze wzmacniaczy W źródeł światła w przetwornikach fotoelektrycznych PF1 i PF2 są proporcjonalne do zmian sumy prądów w rezystorach R, mR i m2R.151 568 direct resistor m 2 R, but also through the resistor R and mR through memory circuits, which in this case play the role of repeaters. Therefore, the error signals for this sub-range are amplified by the sum of the signals from the resistors m 2 R, mR and R. The signal from the resistor R is the largest, because R <mR <m 2 R and the changes in lighting controlled by amplifiers W light sources in photoelectric converters PF1 and PF2 are proportional to changes in the sum of the currents in the resistors R, mR and m 2 R.

Zmiany światła powodowane sygnałami błędu z komparatorów powodują zmiany rezystancji fotorezystorów przetworników fotoelektrycznych PF1 i PF2 w kierunku lepszego dostrojenia filtra. Sygnał błędu jest podawany przez wszystkie rezystory R, mR i m2R.Light changes caused by error signals from comparators cause changes in the photoresistors of the photoelectric converters PF1 and PF2 towards better filter tuning. F to the fundamental frequency, and as a result, the voltage of the residual signal from the output of the F filter is reduced. With the same damping of the AC voltage divider DNZ, the control signal of the comparators KI and K2 becomes too small for further adjustment. There is a need to switch the AC voltage divider DNZ to sub-range C, and then the signal from the output of the AC voltage amplifier, as sufficient to drive the comparators KI and K2, causes further tuning of the F filter through a control loop with a large gain, m-times greater than for the D sub-range , where m is the division times for the step of the AC voltage divider switch DNZ, for example 10. The error signal is given by all resistors R, mR and m 2 R.

Napięcie to poprzez rezystor R stanowi odtąd stały składnik sumy sygnałów z rezystorów R, mR i m2R. Zmiany sygnału błędu będą teraz powodowały podobne zmiany świecenia źródeł światła w przetwornikach fotoelektrycznych PF1 i PF2 jak w podzakresie C.Further tuning of the F filter results in a finer cut of the fundamental and a further reduction of the signal from the output of this F filter. To fine tune the F filter, it is necessary to further reduce the attenuation on the AC voltage divider DNZ. Switching the AC voltage divider DNZ to the B sub-range increases the signal from the output of the AC voltage amplifier PD supplied to the comparators KI and K2, but at the moment of switching it also remembers the voltage present at the outputs of the FDP filters. Constant voltage values are now present at the outputs of both Mb memories. This voltage through the resistor R is henceforth a constant component of the sum of the signals from the resistors R, mR and m 2 R. Error signals from the comparators KI and K2 now drive the amplifiers with voltage changes through the resistors mR and m 2 R. Changes in the error signal will now cause similar changes lighting of light sources in PF1 and PF2 photoelectric converters as in sub-range C.

Podobne będą zmiany rezystancji fotorezystorów przetworników fotoelektrycznych PF1 i PF2, a więc dostrajanie filtru F będzie zbliżone szybkością dó dostrajania w podzakresie C, ponieważ wzmocnienie w pętli regulacji nie zostało zwiększone. Teraz więc sygnały błędu będą powodowały także podobne zmiany świecenia vz przetwornikach fotoelektrycznych PF1 i PF2, czyli także podobne zmiany rezystancji fotorezystorów przetworników fotoelektrycznych PF1 i PF2, a więc dostrajanie filtru F będzie się odbywało z podobną szybkością ponieważ wzmocnienie w pętli zostało podobne jak w podzakresach C i B.The changes in the resistance of the photoresistors of the photoelectric converters PF1 and PF2 will be similar, so the tuning of the F filter will be similar down to the tuning speed in the C sub-range, because the gain in the control loop has not been increased. Further tuning of the F filter in the position of the switch setting the B sub-range will result in more accurate suppression of the fundamental component and if the harmonic distortion is small enough, there may be a need for further attenuation by switching the DNZ AC voltage divider switch to sub-range A. Then the signal from the output of the AC amplifier HV will increase and the comparators KI and K2 will have the possibility of further effective regulation, and at the same time, when the A sub-range is switched on, the current voltage on the inputs of the FDP filters will be stored. From now on, a constant voltage value is present at the outputs of both analog memories Ma. The voltages at the Mb memory outputs remain unchanged. The voltage at the Ma memory output is henceforth a constant component of the sum of the signals from the resistors R, mR and m 2 R. Error signals :: comparators KI and K2 from now on are controlled by the amplifiers. In voltage changes only through resistors m 2 R. Now, error signals will also cause similar changes in lighting v with photoelectric converters PF1 and PF2, i.e. also similar changes in photoresistors of photoelectric converters PF1 and PF2, so the tuning of the F filter will be performed at a similar speed because the gain in the loop was similar to the sub-ranges C and B.

As you can see, switching to higher sensitivity sub-ranges, thanks to the appropriate memory application, does not increase the gain in the filter auto-tuning loop, which allows the system to remain stable.
